Natural Resources Lead

Anita Esinam Badji is a well-respected environmental management and climate change expert, who has a background in circular economy and local livelihoods. She is also a Gender Specialist and has a wealth of experience working with grassroots communities across Africa. With years of experience in project coordination, Anita has a proven track record of delivering results-driven projects. She has worked on a range of initiatives, including Rural Livelihoods, Natural Resources Management, Climate change, Inclusive finance, and more. Her exceptional project coordination skills have made her an invaluable asset to the communities she serves. Throughout her career, Anita has worked closely with local communities, governments, and NGOs to develop and implement initiatives that promote sustainable development. Her approach is always collaborative, and she is known for her ability to bring different stakeholders together to achieve common goals.

Fredrick Gyamfi Addai

Ecosystem Restoration & Carbon Lead

Fredrick Gyamfi Addai is a Yale University trained Researcher and a dedicated environmental specialist. His expertise spans forest restoration, agroforestry, silviculture, and climate action, where he has made significant contributions. Fredrick champions sustainable land use practices that recover degraded landscapes and mitigate climate change through carbon sequestration and resilient ecosystems. He is interested in landuse practices that enhance biodiversity, improve soil health, and support rural populations’ livelihoods, aligning closely with global climate goals. Fredrick is dedicated to combating environmental degradation and driving progressive climate action, promoting an inclusive approach to conservation that benefits both nature and communities. Fredrick believes that access to the carbon market by smallholder farmers can go a long way toward mitigating climate change.
